Faith in action, building stronger communities
Our focus is to carry out group activities which benefit the community by establishing a powerful sense of unity and belonging. We do this by providing opportunities where people can express themselves creatively, emotionally and spiritually.
We provide a happy environment where new skills are learned, friendships are made, general mental health is improved, and hopefully some of life's stresses can be minimised by being part of something creative and exciting.
THE AIM of Rejoice With Voice! is to serve a diverse community of people of all ages, races and genders, especially those who have an interest in spiritual matters. The activities relate predominantly to the message of the Christian faith, but warmly welcomes individuals from ALL faiths and spiritual backgrounds and encourage them to engage with Christian sacred works, such as traditional choral music, gospel music, aspects of contemporary worship, and new musical compositions in the sacred tradition.
The activities we offer are available on a range of platforms such as live performances, social media and other digital content.
OUR VISION is to offer spiritual inspiration and to unite and uplift the public at large through participation in sacred music. There are many benefits to physical and mental health that come from participation in singing, whether in boosting confidence, developing teamwork skills or creating new bonds of friendship and collaboration.
In honouring the deep connection between faith, creativity and personal well-being, we also celebrate the power of the written word, whether in liturgy, lyrics or storytelling. The organisation’s welcome to all offers an inclusive environment for self-expression, spiritual connection, and community support.
THE PEOPLE WHO SET UP Rejoice With Voice! offer their time gladly and freely to create a welcoming community for anyone who wishes to participate, learn new skills and meet new people from any background. The team came together to share their collective experience of working in the media and arts industries and who also have a passion for religious and spiritual music. Together, with other expert volunteers, they run workshops and classes to help people develop new skills and learn to work together.
Loneliness is something many people can experience in various stages of life, and helping people to make new friends with a shared interest is very much at the forefront of our aims. If you have just moved to the area and haven't met many like-minded people yet, or you'd just like to meet people who may share your interests then please do reach out. We just might be the people you like.
We know that money can be tight, and in current times most people's finances are being stretched more and more. We do our best to make our events and workshops FREE or affordable. Anyone can join in, no matter their financial situation. Please don't let money (or lack of it) get in the way of you joining in.
WHETHER YOU WANT TO roll up your sleeves and get involved with the activites Rejoice With Voice! offer, or just dip your toe in and come to one of our workshops or events you will be most welcome. If you like what we do and who we are perhaps you might like to volunteer your own skills and time so that we can achieve our aims to the best of our ability.

Fundraising: If you have experience in fundraising we'd love to hear from you. If you don't have any past experience but think it might be something you'd like to be involved in please get in touch. You don't have to be a marathon runner or be sponsored to sit in a tub of baked beans. There are many easier ways to help raise funds that don't require extreme fitness or making a fool of yourself!
Social Media: We would be thrilled to have someone who knows their way around social media to promote Rejoice With Voice! online on our social pages.
Administration: Do you have the skills and the time for tasks such as scheduling and keeping records of meetings and coordinating invitations and attendance to meetings? If so please get in touch and let us know how you might be able to help.
